Lara was commissioned by NAC and SMA of Helena & Bozeman to capture students back to school in the newest MSU campus residence hall, the sleek Hyalite Hall, with hypergraphic stair murals, great views from lounges and seating clusters all surrounding a common stair core.
In a massive effort of community engagement, Seattle developer Vulcan Inc brought together local artists and BIPOC to shore up the residential development, Jackson Apartments in the heart of the Central District. With interiors by Portland's VIDA and landscaping by Hewitt, this project involved several shoots with various models and talents!
Residential master architects Prentiss Balance Wickline commissioned Lara to capture their recent North Cascadesproject in rural Methow Valley town of Mazama. Nestled in a grove of aspen trees, the project seamlessly melds interior and exterior spaces by bringing nature to forefront.

this massive Central area redevelopment encompassed an ambitious integrated public art program lead by local BIPOC artists, along with over 500 market and below market rate living units, fantastic garden and outdoor spaces, as well as shared workspace amenities throughout. It was an added thrill to bring on some amazing model teams for both shoots.
The bold and new Health Science Education Center at UM's West Campus in Minneapolis was the first shoot where we covered both pre and post Covid student scenarios, with takes for masked and spaced students, as well as those in a normal, past world. Great efforts by builder JE Dunn and architect Perkins + Will MSP!
